OK, we will discuss this proposal and figure out the best way to address it.

In the meantime, the reason for the extensive breakage in yesterday's build report is that I updated the devel build machines to R-beta. Whenever I upddate R on the build machines, all packages are freshly reinstalled. GenomeInfoDb was broken and therefore all the packages that depend on it were also broken.

Today's build report will be a little late but should be up within a couple of hours.
