[R-wiki] adding content and front page

   To answer both your questions: I believe Phillipe G. is
restructuring today, hopes to get the revised version up today or 
tomorrow.  We had already discussed modifying the front page along
the lines you suggest here (although the "tip of the day" idea is
new, and nice) -- I would guess that he will also make this change
in the process.
    So -- if you can hold off adding to the wiki until tomorrow,
that might be a good idea ...
