[R-SIG-Mac] GDD installation

[Jan de Leeuw]

a) did you ranlib the installed static libs ?

b) are they in a place searched by gcc (such as /usr/local/lib) ?

c) try

    nm libgd.a | grep gdImageCreateFromPng

    to see if the symbol is defined
