FWIW: X11 is on the installation CD/DVD of OS X since 10.3. It's  
called X11User.pkg and all you need is that one package (just double  
click to install).

Depending on the CD/DVD you may see it right away ('show original' of  
the installer icon usually puts you in the right spot) or you'll need  
to search for it.

All the hints Kasper gave you were to the point - don't mess with  
your own tcl/tk library unless you really know what you're doing.
