[R-SIG-Mac] R-1.8.0 and Emacs/ESS on gifi

There is a new R-1.8.0 package on gifi. It contains StartR/RAqua,
Carbon Emacs, the Darwin/X11 version of R, and the Darwin
version of emacs. The Darwin/X11 version of R comes with
330 compiled packages.

Problems to me. Download from http://gifi.stat.ucla.edu/pub. In
the future I will only make these announcements on the UCLA
statcompute list -- this is a very unofficial version of R for OS X.
