followup, you would have gone to R-Forge:

One expects more attention to the run of play from questioners working in 
big business, really. I said that the spdep2 code is as yet only very 
preliminary, so a community effort to help develop it, such as by giving 
good bug reports and examples with data, is what is needed now, this is 
also an opportunity for you to add value.
