[R-sig-Geo] PBSMapping - addBubbles - changing colors

Dear all,

I'm working with library(PBSmapping) and would like to change my addBubbles
colors (symbol.fg & symbol.bg) to the default vector grey color to a vector
of oranges/yellow (like:
http://www.oga-lab.net/RGM2/func.php?rd_id=PBSmapping:addBubbles). 
However, it doesn't look like I can use the rgb package since I am working
on R version 2.13.2.

>package ‘rgb’ is not available (for R version 2.13.2)

Is there a way that I can go around this?
