[R-sig-Debian] installing ROCR/gplots packages blows up memory

Andrew,

My first suggestion would be to upgrade to the latest version of R,
2.10.1.  Ubuntu packages are available in the CRAN repository.  If
that doesn't work, we can investigate further.
