Hi!  Maybe try out things in a virtual 
machine in qemu or something?  

OT: Who uses Solaris anyway, I thought 
it was a long dead project after Oracle 
went in and bought Sun some ten odd 
years ago, contiued in the form of 
Illumos, SmartOS, perhaps now Oxide 
Computing?  Also: i386?? I think no one 
uses this ... this is really old and 
crusty stuff from 2007 [1] ...
