Interesting. My tkConfig.sh has
# -I switch(es) to use to make all of the X11 include files accessible:
TK_XINCLUDES='-I/usr/X11R6/include'
and I would not think that '# no special path needed' is a valid switch.
If this problem persists acroess platforms we can work around it but I
must say that Tcl/Tk configuration testing is getting a bit silly after
all.

Maybe we did not use TK_XINCLUDES then.
