[BioC] flowCore: Writing FCS files

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a utility available for writing FCS files  
from within flowCore.
I would like to be able to read in an FCS file, compensate and/or  
transform the data, and then write the results to a new FCS file.
Is that functionality available? If not, is there anywhere in the  
flow* packages where FCS files are rewritten?
