The allocation memory I don't believe has a solution besides decreasing the amount of data that is utilized. If that isn't possible there are ways to mark the package unsupported only on windows i386.

We have seen some intermittent connectivity issues reported for the server and are investigating potential solutions. The x64 error should resolve itself on its own or with changes internally by the core team.

Subject: [Bioc-devel] ExperimentHub package check fails on Windows

Hi all,

we have created a new package accessing ExperimentHub resources and noticed that some resources cant be downloaded specifically on Windows when checking the package:

It seems like one object cant be loaded from cache: cannot allocate vector of size 133.0 Mb on arch i386 while the other object cant be downloaded: Internal Server Error (HTTP 500) on arch x64'.
Since the checks and builds are fine on Mac and Linux and the errors are inconsistent between the two Windows builds, we are not quite sure how to resolve this issue.
Any help is much appreciated!
Best and thanks in advance,

Nils
