[Bioc-devel] Recent changes in xcms

Dear all,

we are currently in the middle of refactoring and updating the xcms package, which could cause (on the short term) some problems in packages depending on functionality from xcms. In the long run everything should work and integration of functionality from xcms in other packages should become easier (i.e. have an eye on the new "do_" functions which expose core algorithm without having to use classes from xcms). Also, we will reuse classes and functionality from the MSnbase package in order to create a more streamlined functionality for MS based data.
