[Bioc-devel] RFC: Guidelines for updating the release branch

Hi all,

I've drafted a how-to/guidelines for package maintainers wanting to
make bug fixes to the current Bioc release.

I would like to solicit comments on the guidelines (and the how to)
between now and Friday (Nov 11).

- Are the guidelines agreeable?
- Are important details missing?
- Are the instructions clear?
