For an international research-led company based in Neuchâtel we are looking for a biostatistician to join their Systems Toxicology team.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a key part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that executes scientifically and technically challenging projects, you will bring your statistical and programming skills and your experience to the analysis and interpretation of a broad range of in vitro and in vivo studies. This requires that you interact closely with a wide range of experts, including computational biologists and experimental scientists.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Aggregate raw data and prepare high-quality data sets ready for statistical analysis
·      Perform statistical analyses, interpret statistical results, and prepare summaries for reports and manuscripts intended for publication in peer reviewed journals as well as packages for submission to regulatory authorities
·      Contribute to the design of in vitro and in vivo studies and recommend the most appropriate statistical procedures for evaluation of the outcomes of these studies
·      Write the corresponding statistical analysis plans
·      Develop statistical and computational tools that support these activities

REQUIREMENTS:

•      Expertise in biostatistics
•      Several years of practical experience in pre-clinical research, GLP and non-GLP toxicology
•      Expertise in programming with the R programming language; experience in Shiny applications development is a plus
•      Interest in data management and ease to deal with large datasets
•      Good understanding of international guidelines and guidance (including OECD and FDA) and standards (including SEND)
•      Fluency in both written and spoken English

If you are good at leading a wide variety of studies and taking ownership, you enjoy learning while operating in an inquisitive/changing environment working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you are excellent in delivering results in a timely manner and have an effective and impactful communication style, you are the one we want for this position as a biostatistician in this Systems Toxicology department.
