Reminder: Call for Papers
Deadline: April 10, 2015

Swiss Statistics Meeting, August 24-26, 2015, Berne

The Swiss Statistics Meeting 2015 (SST 2015: http://www.statoo.ch/sst15/) will take place at the University of Berne. The conference venue can be reached easily by public transportation. Further information about Berne is provided by Berne Tourism (http://www.bern.com/en/).

The three day programme will alternate between plenary sessions and workshops. For the plenary talks, well-known keynote speakers will be invited.

To provide a rich and stimulating programme,
we need your contribution for the workshops!

Each contributed talk will last about 20 minutes, followed by 5 additional minutes for questions and discussion. The programme is open to all domains covered by statistics. Parallel sessions will be run for
• business and industry
• education and research
• official statistics
Subjects covering applications, theory and methods, conceptual and communication aspects of statistics are most welcome.

The talks may be presented in English, French or German, the title specifying the language. Once provided, the title will be considered as final.

A book of abstracts will be distributed to all participants. No separate proceedings will be published. However, with your agreement, your presentation may be published on the SST 2015 web site.

We kindly request you to send your title, abstract (maximum size one page A4) and target parallel session (business and industry, education and research or official statistics) by email before April 10, 2015, to
   lutz.duembgen using stat.unibe.ch
using the Word template available at http://www.statoo.ch/sst15/. The program committee will notify you about acceptance or rejection of your talk before May 15, 2015.

The Swiss Statistics Meeting 2015 provides a setting for fruitful and extensive dialogue among all statisticians, and we are looking forward to your contributions!

With our best regards,

On behalf of the Organisation Committee, Lutz Dümbgen
