For the first time, Bayes Pharma will take place in Switzerland
(Basel, Novartis Campus).

The conference aims at bringing together statisticians who are
interested in the application of Bayesian statistics.

This year’s focus will be three-fold. An optional one-day course
on Bayesian dose-escalation in Oncology is offered on Day 1. On
Day 2, advanced models including a review of available software
tools for Bayesian analysis will be discussed. And finally, Day 3
will be dedicated to Communicating Bayesian Statistics.

The variety of topics and the numerous speakers including Stuart
Bailey, Novartis Pharma AG; Michael Betancourt, University of
Warwick; Fang Chen, SAS Institute; Tony O’Hagan, University of
Sheffield; Martyn Plummer, WHO; Beat Neuenschwander and Simon
Wandel, Novartis Pharma AG for the short course make this an
