[R-sig-teaching] R-sig-teaching Digest, Vol 97, Issue 1

My book, "The R Student Companion" (CRC Press), has a number of financial
examples throughout (such as exponential growth, monthly loan payment,
simulation of stochastic investment return). It is one of the more
elementary books on R available and is designed for high school or college
science and math classes. Its premise is that R is way more than a
statistics package; it is a comprehensive tool for scientific calculations,
modeling, and graphing.

One R to rule them all!
