[R-sig-ME] glmmADMB does not run

Hi there, 
I am trying to install the glmmADMB package but I get the message 
#is not available (for R version 3.0.2). 
I've tried installing it on a older R version 
but get the same message (albeit not with 3.0.2). 

Is there anyone out there that can tell me the R version
 in which glmmADMB package will work? I am 
using a Mac 10.9.3.
