Dear Julia,

The R function forest() in R package meta considers the arguments
'subset' (use subset of studies) and 'exclude' (show studies in
printouts and forest plots, however, exclude from meta-analysis)
provided in R functions to conduct meta-analyses.

Please find attached an artificial example using R function metagen()
and the corresponding forest plots.

Best wishes,
Guido
