[R-SIG-Mac] Adobe viewer needed?

Hi,
In R.app 3.2.0, doing

?function -> index -> vignettes -> pdf

R.app requests a version of Adobe Reader. I don’t have this installed, but all OS X users have preview.app

Could the help service be coded to either:
1. just open pdfs (that way they’ll be in a stand alone app configured by the user.
2. set preview.app as the default in-app viewer?
