[R-SIG-Mac] Naive question about permissions

Dear All,
Sorry for cluttering up the list and whatnot, and thanks for the
support.   As noted, the clue was in the PopUp menu telling me I
couldn't use R.

On the offchance someone in the future hits this email trail, I've been
told by the sysadmin who fixed this:

"I simply allowed the frameworks and commands to be able to run as they
are not in the normal path.  The /usr/bin/R  is alias to inside the
frameworks folder in /Library, and not /usr/bin on /Volumes/System/"
