[R-SIG-Mac] Installer could install some files in "/" message

This portion of the error message suggests you have run afoul of a problem 
Simon Urbanek just described in another thread. Basically if one upgrades from 
Tiger to Leopard including XTools, an "infinite" symbolic link is created by 
mistake. here is what Simon said in a prior message to fix it:
