[R-SIG-Mac] Graphing Help

 From the help (usually a good starting point) for boxplot

horizontal logical indicating if the boxplots should be horizontal;  
default FALSE means vertical boxes.

So the parameter is horizontal=TRUE

the r-help mailing list is usually better for questions that aren't  
specifically mac related.
