[R-SIG-Mac] mini installed v.2.5 update packages question

... well, it does seem I have to quit and restart R for the package  
installer to register the installation of a new package or the update  
of an existing package. That was not the case in older versions,  
which before giving the prompt back, updated the package installer  
window (I think). Or maybe this lovely bottle of wine is the problem...
