[R-SIG-Mac] tcl/tk

a probably trivial problem:

R (from the binary distribution) expects tcl8.4 in /usr/lib or 
/usr/local/lib, but it resides in /sw/lib.

adding a corresponding link to /usr/local/lib does not solve the problem 
(further things are again expected in /usr/...).

question: have I to compile from source or can this be configured otherwise?
