[R-SIG-Mac] mouse movement needed to trigger command - a bug?

Sorry, I should have mentioned the details:
I am running Mac OS X 10.4.2, R-GUI 1.12 (1622), R 2.1.1, standard 
installation with the Mac installer from 
http://www.imsv.unibe.ch/cran/
