One more detail that may not be self-evident.  "Manually installing"
tkrplot.dylib means moving tkrplot.dylib from the src directory where
tkrplot was installed to the /libs directory of the installation directory
(like ~/Library/R/library/tkrplot/libs, if you have libraries installed in
your home directory).
