a) The machine will be up tomorrow
b) Stefano and Simon are working on the Cocoa interface for R (which is
coming along
very nicely), and the problems of (b1) using Quartz from the command
line and
(b2) of using Aqua Tcl/Tk from the Cocoa interface are not on the list
for 2.0.0.
