[R-SIG-Mac] NSTimer discarding exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException'

I cannot always reproduce my fault but on it does occur  when I save a 
graph using the pulldown window.

The console window and the Quartz (2) active remain the same but my R 
is dead and needs to be restarted
- in the sense that the console window ignores further typing.
