Umh,

I have noticed that in R-devel_2002-09-08.tar.gz
the two files
src/modules/aqua/R.fix
src/modules/aqua/AquaInstall

hve not the "exec" bit set. In particular R.fix should be executable 
because it is charged to patch the R script.
