[R--gR] unordered, 3 variable scatter plotting

I am unable to persuade any high level routine in R to provide image,
contour or perspective plots of unordered 3 dimensional triples
(y1,y2,y3) in the same way that plot (y1,y2) will do.  Pairwise
combinations I can do but would like to have a cohesive pseudo-three
dimensional graphical display the data points which do not form
ascending values.

Can anyone remove my ignorance?
