Hi Sownal,
In addition to other information you have been given, you can register or create an account at NASA Geovanni (https://giovanni.gsfc.nasa.gov/giovanni/).
The platform will allow you to download the data recursively using a wget (for large samples).
The format will be in NetCDF.
daymetr package is pretty efficient to batch convert the NetCDF to TIFF
> nc2tif(path = getwd(), files = NULL, overwrite = FALSE, silent = FALSE)
