Hi, what version of R and the dismo package are you running? my info
 is:

R version 3.0.3 (2014-03-06)
Platform: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu (64-bit)

locale:
 [1] LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 LC_NUMERIC=C
 [3] LC_TIME=es_ES.UTF-8 LC_COLLATE=C
 [5] LC_MONETARY=es_ES.UTF-8 LC_MESSAGES=es_ES.UTF-8
 [7] LC_PAPER=es_ES.UTF-8 LC_NAME=C
 [9] LC_ADDRESS=C LC_TELEPHONE=C
[11] LC_MEASUREMENT=es_ES.UTF-8 LC_IDENTIFICATION=C

attached base packages:
[1] stats graphics grDevices utils datasets methods
base

other attached packages:
[1] XML_3.98-1.1 dismo_0.9-3 raster_2.2-31 sp_1.0-14

loaded via a namespace (and not attached):
[1] grid_3.0.3 lattice_0.20-27 tools_3.0.3

And it works as expected, I see no error while using the code you
provided.

 Good luck!
