[R-sig-Geo] Another line-network post to RPubs

I've written another RPubs doc about line networks. In this I've tried
to work out the direction of river flow on a line network using a DEM.

Its a bit of a failure, as you will see, but its made me think more
about how to store topology related to SpatialLines objects in R... So
expect a sequel sometime...
