[R-sig-Geo] setting user path for gpsbabel use with readgps

It may be easier to download the *.gpx file from the device using other 
software, and use readOGR() with the GPX driver from the rgdal package. 
Path variables etc., tend to be difficult when R is buried under other 
software.
