Hello,

A little embarassing to post this like this, but I'm sure there will
be some interest. If not please just ignore.

I'm about to hand in my thesis on problems with location estimation
for animal tracking. It's not completely finished, but there's a
lengthy discussion on the trip package, its underlying rationale and
some directions for more comprehensive solutions.
