[R-sig-Geo] Weighted Head-Banging and Weighted Median

Hi Folks,

Thanks everyone for their time.  I am wondering if there is an R package 
out there for spatial smoothing using a weighted median and/or weighted 
head-banging algorithm (Mungiole et. al 1999). If not, does someone have 
some code they would be willing to share?
