[R-sig-Geo] Using the Z value for 3-D polygons?

Jim,

I'm sorry that this not answer your question; refering to this graphic
gallery, I discovered that fig21 is no longer matches current states in
sp, so I updated the complete set on sourceforge (and the sources in
cvs, target spweb). For fig21, I also had to update the generating code,
as panels now need to have matching factor levels (to have a common scale).

Figures now look a little different here and there, as I changed from
using driver GDD to png, which, when using cairo, now also provides
anti-aliasing.
