[R-sig-Geo] installing rgdal on a Mac OS 10.5

Jonathan,

not sure ..   the library looks for version 2.6, but you *may* have a  
different R version installed ??
If so, I very inelegantly fixed that once by actually editing the  
path in rgdal.so.
