[R-sig-Geo] periodic variograms

You could try with the wave model:
> require(geoR)
> plot(c(0,100), c(0,1.5), type="n")
> lines.variomodel(1:100,"wave", cov.pars=c(1, 5), nug=0.2)

which is algo implemented by other packages
