Intereseting work... I haven't had the time yet to investigate on it but, as I'm not a C++ developer, I was thinking to couple CGAL and R through thei respective Python bindings for alpha shapes processing. Obviously, it would be better having a low-level binding... but there's no time to learn everything! :-) Giovanni
