Dear Virgilio

It is happy to see Virgilio's e-mail because I am very interested in him as
an author of DCluster and RArcInfo.

Although I know neither GREG nor BLUP, I guess calibrate() in survey
and ranef() in nlme may rouse your interest.

Recently, I found two papers, for which I had been waiting because
these are not draft anymore. Instead of you, let me introduce here.

V. G{\'o}mez-Rubio and J. Ferr{\'a}ndiz-Ferragud and
 A. L{\'o}pez-Qu{\'i}lez. Detecting clusters of disease with R,
Journal of Geographical Systems, Volume 7, Issue 2, Jun 2005, Pages
 189 - 206

V. G{\'o}mez-Rubio and J. Ferr{\'a}ndiz-Ferragud.
RArcInfo: Using GIS data with R, Computers and Geosciences, 2005,
 31 (8), Pages 1000-1006.

A matter of regret is that the word "DCluster" was missed in the title
of "Detecting clusters of disease with R".

Best regards,
