Dear all,

We are pleased to announce our upcoming online course: Generalised Linear Models in R, taking place from 24-28 February 2025.

Course website: [ https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/glm-in-r-1/ ]( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/glm-in-r-1/ )

Participants will gain hands-on experience applying GLMs to a variety of data types, including normal, binary, and count data, using R.

Course Highlights:

  - Specification and fitting of GLMs with appropriate distributions and link functions
  - Interpretation of model outputs, including categorical predictors and predictions
  - Model selection principles to answer research questions effectively
  - Visualization and validation of models to communicate results clearly
  - Foundations for advancing to GLMMs, GAMs, and other complex regression models

Target Audience:

Graduate students and researchers with basic statistical knowledge and prior experience in R programming (e.g., data import, manipulation, and visualization).

By the end of this course, participants will be equipped to confidently analyse experimental and observational data using GLMs, ensuring a robust and coherent approach to statistical analysis.

Best regards,
Carlo
