[R-SIG-Finance] How to get name of a ticker using Quantmod/R

I'd like a way to get name of a stock/fund ticker using quantmod or other R
packages, but so far I have not been able to find one. I tried using
getSymbols etc. Let me know a way to do it. Thanks and sorry if this has
been asked before, if so please point me the link.
