This is a list for R and Ecology/Environmetrics. I know there are people
here who are ecologists and/or environmental scientists, and they
*might* be inclined to answer ecological- or environmental-related
questions, but please do respect the fact that the people who signed up
to the list did so on the understanding that it was an R list. Please
don't post non-R related questions. There are other lists where
questions such as your would be appropriate, and I believe, though I am
happy to be corrected, I have already told you this?
