[R-sig-Debian] r2u package manager: upgrading from Ubuntu 24.04 to 26.04

I am planning to upgrade a computer's OS from Ubuntu 24.04 to 26.04. I use
the r2u package manager (https://github.com/eddelbuettel/r2u) for
installing and updating R packages.

Do I need to disable all of r2u's PPAs prior to upgrading to Ubuntu 26.04?

And then run the r2u shell script for Resolute Raccoon
(add_cranapt_resolute.sh) after Ubuntu 26.04 has been installed?

Any advice regarding this migration to Ubuntu 26.04 is appreciated.
