[R-sig-Debian] [ESS] Debian/Ubuntu packages of a recent version of ess?

After a period of quiet, the new version is in Debian.  I'm running
5.3.8~svn3902-1.  I'm not sure if that's what you were referring to with
SVN; it's a Debian package.
