[R-sig-Debian] R 2.5.0 in Debian unstable

Maybe it would be a good idea to stick with etch, for the time being.
It's a quite up to date distribution, it is stable and it has the best
security support.

Thanks for the offer. I am a bit short of time, but the backports to
stable should be there soon. Note that I don't plan to do backports for
lenny/testing at the moment, since I don't use it and wouldn't notice if
something went wrong. So people wanting to use R 2.5.0 on lenny will
need to use pinning for now.
