[R-pkg-devel] [Q] How To Replace Previous Archived Package(s)

Despite having notified ownership (a couple weeks ago) that Vincent & I
were working
on updating the "matlab" package due to an issue with R CMD check failure
with one of the
upcoming changes, both packages were pulled off CRAN and archived
2022-05-25 while
I
continue to wait for R-Forge to register them (matlab & rwt). As this
impacts multiple
other R packages, what is the process to fix this situation?
